Hello Wilson Betemit

The Detroit Tigers finally filled a huge hole yesterday when they traded for 3rd basemen Wilson Betemit.  Even though Wilson Betemit isn't a big name addition he will still be a huge help to the Tigers.  Brandon Inge was hitting a dreadful .177.  Also he had only one home run, which was not cutting it, it was the equivalent of having a pitcher bat.  He has also been having terrible at bats lately where he would swing at the first pitch and pop out, or strike out on 3 to 4 pitches.  His defense has also been suspect this year.  He already has 9 errors, which is all he had for all of last season.
Wilson Betemit isn't going to be an all-star player for the tigers, but he is going to be a respectable one.  He is hitting a respectable .281 after hitting .297 last season.  He also only has 5 errors at third base this season, ill be it in less games played there then Inge.
While Wilson Betemit may not have been the all star name some people were looking for, he is going to really sure up the bottom of the batting order for them.  Now it is time for them to start looking for a good starting pitcher, which is now the biggest need the Tigers have.
